We are looking to recruit an experienced brickwork trainer/assessor to deliver level 1 and level 2 qualifications in bricklaying. The ideal candidate will hold an assessor qualification and have knowledge of delivering City and Guilds qualifications. It would be helpful if the candidate also has an IQA qualification and salary will linked to qualification and experience.

Trans4m are a well established training provider located on the edge of the city centre of Leicester delivering training for young people aged 14-19 many who are vulnerable and socially disadvantaged. The department is based within our vocational centre where we also deliver hair and beauty, catering, health and social care, maths, English and ICT. We support students to develop vocational skills, maths and English along with personal, social and employability skills.

 

The successful candidate will work within a small team and will be expected to assist with maintenance of the centre and supporting students to secure work placements, liaising with support staff, parents/carers etc to ensure students are engaged, motivated and retained successfully through their programme to a positive progression.

It will be advantageous to be computer literate and able to write lesson plans, prepare teaching resources, schemes of works, tracking and sampling plans and to be able to put action plans into place should students fall behind.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year dependent on experience
